Blayze Academy is an intensive training programme that will upskill and support ambitious individuals to become successful Recruitment Consultants. Once you have graduated from the programme, you will join one of our successful teams as an Associate Recruitment Consultant.
As a Blayze Associate Consultant you will be fully candidate focused and responsible for the attraction, selection and engagement of candidates on behalf of committed Blayze clients in their designated specialism. You will work alongside an experienced Consultant to develop market expertise and become proficient in the delivery of candidates to quality opportunities generated by your designated team / Consultant.
As an Associate Consultant some of your responsibilities are:
* Proactively sourcing and identifying active and passive candidates through advertising, referrals, recommendations, referencing, and headhunting.
* Pitching job opportunities to candidates by matching and selling the role to maximize interest
* Develop creative sourcing and recruiting strategies to expand talent portfolio and attract qualified candidates.
* Candidate Referencing: Conduct reference calls for all candidates in process to support and bolster candidate’s credibility.
* Conducting both telephone and, when possible, face to face meetings with candidates
* Performing thorough interviews of each new candidate to evaluate skill, build market awareness, generate market intel, leads, decision maker names, references, and referrals
* Briefing/preparation of candidates for all stages of interview
* Agreeing and executing an agreed plan to grow

The Blayze Academy programme represents the start of your permanent role with Blayze Group and is designed to propel your career in the right direction. For 12 weeks you will be expected to complete carefully selected training modules, which are a mix of off-desk and on-desk training provided by some of the key leaders and senior billers in the company. You will be taught the art of recruitment, including the sourcing, and qualifying of candidates, telephone screenings, writing and marketing job adverts, offer negotiation techniques, and much more.
Upon completion of training, you will join one of the fast-paced and successful teams across construction, development, finance or real estate. You will be assigned a buddy to support your journey from day one, and help you settle into your new role, offer support throughout your induction and beyond, and to help answer any questions.

AN INTRODUCTION TO BLAYZE GROUP:
Understanding your new employer. Who we are, what we do, and how do we do it.
AN INTRODUCTION TO RECRUITMENT:
Gain an introductory understanding of what is the recruitment process, and the different types of recruitment services.
You will learn about the Construction and Real Estate markets. The specific roles you will be recruiting for, and who the key players are in your area.
CV AND CANDIDATE QUALIFICATION:
You will learn how to identify a good CV, and how to qualify suitable candidates for vacancies.
PROCESS MANAGEMENT AND CANDIDATE CONTROL
You will be taught techniques on how to ensure that you manage candidates appropriately and maintain control of the process at all times.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
DO I NEED PREVIOUS RECRUITMENT OR INDUSTRY EXPERIENCE?
Previous recruitment experience is not required. You must be interested in starting a career in recruitment, and you need to have the right attitude, personality and mindset. Previous experience in any other sales related, or customer facing customer facing roles would be desirable, even if just an internship.
WHAT IS THE RECRUITMENT PROCESS?
You will be asked to submit a CV via the ‘Application’ section. We will then conduct telephone/video interviews, followed by a small task where you will be required to submit a 1 minute video on ‘Why you think you could be a good recruiter at Blayze Group’. The final stage will be a face to face interview with senior management. You will be kept updated on the progress of your application throughout.
WHAT TRAINING WILL BE PROVIDED AND HOW LONG WILL IT LAST?
On joining the Blayze Academy, successful candidates will embark on 12 weeks of intensive training. The first 2 weeks of the training programme will be mainly ‘classroom’ based; during which you will learn all the required processes and procedures to develop your understanding of recruitment. The remaining will be spent on a work experience placement within an existing team.

IS THIS A FULL TIME ROLE, PERMANENT ROLE?
Yes, this is a full time, permanent and paid role. You will become a Blayze Group employee from day 1.
